Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all training programmes of the Life-Scouting Academy and to all subscriptions to the AI platform Dialogein Intelligence – “Dialogein.ai”. Travel, seminars and lectures may be organised entirely by external partners. External events advertised on this website are subject to their respective own terms and conditions. “Events” comprise all activities with Helmut-Whitey von Kritzinger. In UK jurisdictions the terms of AEON-LIFE Ltd. apply, in the USA and Asia those of Silent-Gold-Retreats LLC or partner offices in Singapore and New Delhi. For external retreats and events the Foundation acts solely as a platform provider without any organiser obligations under national and international law (e.g. EU Directive 2015/2302). VAT treatment follows Directive 2006/112/EC (Arts. 44, 45, 196) in conjunction with §§ 3a and 13b of the German VAT Act, including the reverse-charge procedure for self-employed persons and entrepreneurs. The terms of the respective organiser apply exclusively and are clearly displayed at checkout.
Our General Terms and Conditions apply to all mutual claims arising from or in connection with a contract concluded between the customer and the seminar organisers, while giving particular consideration to the provisions referenced above. Invoicing is carried out by the respective organisers under the version and jurisdiction valid at the time the contract is concluded.
All “Events” (seminars, retreats, lectures, travel, coaching and other activities with or involving Helmut-Whitey von Kritzinger) serve exclusively the purpose of personal development and self-experience. They do not constitute and do not replace medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, treatment or diagnosis. Participation is at the participant’s own responsibility; no promises of healing are made. The same applies in full to the AI dialogue platform Dialogein.ai.
Booking
Seminars are booked directly with the organiser using the registration form provided. If an event has to be cancelled due to a pandemic or force majeure and rescheduled, the same dates and conditions apply to events held online. Your registration remains binding unless you object at least three weeks before the start of the seminar, or already at the time of registration.
A seminar booking only becomes binding for the organiser once the applicable deposit has been paid and written confirmation has been issued by the organiser. Bookings for accommodation and catering are the participant’s own responsibility and are made directly with the accommodation provider (e.g. hotel). Accommodation and travel to the event are not part of the services of the seminar. All prices quoted are net.
Registration Confirmation and Invoice
Registration becomes binding for both parties upon confirmation by the provider/organiser. Together with the confirmation you will receive an invoice, which is due at the latest three weeks before the start of the seminar.
If the invoice is issued later than three weeks before the start of the seminar, proof of payment must be presented at the latest at the start of the event; otherwise the provider/organiser is entitled to refuse participation without releasing the participant from the payment obligation. Full payment remains due in any case.
Travel
Participants organise their travel to the venue themselves. The organiser is happy to assist with hotel lists and carpool referrals; however, no guarantees can be given in this respect.
Seminar Descriptions
The basis of every open seminar is the respective seminar description in written form or on our website. It contains specific information about each individual seminar, including the purpose and content of the seminar as well as information about the venue, catering and accommodation. Items not mentioned are not part of the contract. Should individual items of the seminar description contradict the General Terms and Conditions, the seminar description prevails. Catering, travel and accommodation costs are not included in the seminar fees unless the seminar description expressly states otherwise.
Seminar Registration
A prerequisite for participation in seminars is a good command of spoken German or English. Participation in any seminar is not a substitute for therapy. Registration may be made by e-mail, telephone, in person or by post and is binding for the applicant, but always requires written confirmation from the Life-Scouting Academy (licensed by the Kritzinger Foundation). The maximum number of participants in open seminars may be limited; as a rule, the number is limited to 80 participants for training seminars and 200 for day-seminars.
Seminar Services and Fees
The amount of the seminar fees and the underlying services are set out in the seminar description for the respective seminar. The amount becomes due upon positive confirmation of registration. By the start of the seminar the money must either have been received in the account stated or have been handed over in cash in the respective national currency to the organiser before the seminar begins.
Cancellation by the Seminar Organiser
The organiser may cancel a seminar at any time for important reasons (pandemic, unavailability of an additionally engaged trainer or lecturer, etc.) or exclude individual participants from a seminar even after registration has been confirmed, without giving reasons. In such a case the seminar fees already paid will be refunded in the amount of the seminar not yet attended, less an administration fee of 100–300 €. Further claims, in particular for already-booked rooms, travel costs, loss of earnings, etc., cannot be asserted.
Cancellation by the Participant
You may cancel seminar registrations free of charge up to 32 days before the start of the seminar. After that the following cancellation fees apply:
- 24 to 31 days before the seminar: 25 %
- 16 to 23 days before the seminar: 30 %
- 7 to 15 days before the seminar: 50 %
- up to 6 days before the seminar: 100 %
Cancellations must always be submitted in official written form. These fees do not apply if you nominate a replacement participant for the seminar in good time (between 10 and 5 days before the start of the event).
Participant Conduct
During the seminar all commercial activities by participants are prohibited. It is therefore not permitted to offer or sell one’s own products in any form, whether inside or outside the seminar, at the respective venue. Each participant acknowledges the organiser’s house rules in the seminar rooms and at the seminar venue. If a participant disturbs a seminar by their appearance or behaviour, or repeatedly fails to comply with the instructions of the seminar leader or lecturer necessary for the smooth running of the seminar, they may be excluded from the seminar. In such a case the full seminar fee remains payable.
Deviations in Delivery
In pandemic situations (e.g. Covid-19 et al.) and other cases of force majeure, your registration also remains binding for an online seminar under all the stated conditions. The organisers reserve the right to change dates and venues in accordance with disaster and environmental regulations of the respective state.
Copyright
All rights to reprint and reproduce training materials, in whole or in part, are reserved by the respective organisers. No part of the training materials may be reproduced – even in extracts – without the written permission of the organiser; in particular, they may not be processed, duplicated, distributed or used for public performances by means of electronic systems. It is therefore not permitted to make video or audio recordings during an event in the seminar room, not even for private purposes. Every registered participant receives, after payment of the full fee, a login to the respective event where all essential training materials are digitally available.
